Liquid adhesive for use with Polyken

Polyken # 2027 Liquid
Adhesive is recommended for use with Polyken High
Tempeerature coating systems. The systems consist of synthetic
thermoplastic elastomers blended with heat-activated
polymeric resins dissolved in an organic solvent system.
When the pipe is heated, the result is a cross-linked
bonding between primer, coating and pipe, which results
in excellent soil stress & shear resistance, superior
adhesion, and low cathodic disbondment from the pipe
substrate. Moreover, these systems contain industry
proven SCC inhibitors which protect against stress
corrosion cracking and further enhance the coating's
protection. |

Application |
|
Polyken # 2027 Liquid Adhesive is ideal for hand
application to rough, reconditioned, or grit-blasted pipe surfaces. It
provides a uniformly smooth instant tack surface for Polyken
2036/2000 coatings.
Notes:
1. Properly stored, all Polyken liquid coating systems have a shelf
life of 3 years.
Pleaser request an Application & Storage Guideline.
2. Polyken liquid adhesive systems are flammable mixtures.
3. Store away from heat source. Read all label instructions prior to
use. |
