TC 7000 Epoxy is a surface tolerant two-component 100% solids material that replaces VOC base primers. It is manufactured to be used as a one-coat primer with Tapecoat hot and cold applied tapes. 

• Primer: Use as a single coat primer prior to wrapping with Tapecoat hot or cold applied tapes.
       
• Coating: Use as a stand alone coating on metal surfaces. For added impact and abrasion resistance, use TC reinforcing scrim. TC 7000 can also be applied as a two-coat stand alone coating for use on metal surfaces. This coating offers exceptional flowability with self leveling attributes. The product can be used above or below ground.

Surface must be clean and dry. Power tool cleaning SSPC SP3 or commercial blast to SSPC SP6 preferred. Remove oil and grease with suitable solvent. Salt and other contaminants may be removed by high pressure fresh water cleaning.

Pour entire contents of Part A Resin (large can) and Part B Curing Agent (small can) into a separate mixing pail and mix thoroughly, apprx. 3-5 minutes. Do not alter the amounts of A and B in the mixture. Apply epoxy by brush, pad, roller or spray. Surface temperature should be approximately 100°F (38°C). Primer should be dry to touch before applying Tapecoat tapes or sleeves. As a stand alone coating, TC 7000 Epoxy provides superior corrosion protection above and below ground.

Specially selected Tapecoat reinforcing scrim can be applied over wet epoxy. After scrim is applied, apply a second application of TC 7000 Epoxy.
