Existing sealing possibilities can provide a solution; however, they are not universal in their application and result in a wide range of plugs, joint rings, blocks or sealing rings in different sizes. This is not advantageous from a logistical point of view.

STOPAQ 2100 is a unique and worldwide patented Universal Inert Visco-Elastic Sealing Compound that gives a permanent and complete watertight and gas-restrictive sealing when it comes to cable and pipe casings according to NEN 2768. STOPAQ 2100 stops rain water, soil water, seeping water and penetration of any gases without affecting the pipe's or cable's casing (Inert Properties). Even actual leaks can be stopped by injection of STOPAQ paste into the leaking hole.

STOPAQ 2100 can be applied on wet or dry surfaces and does not require any intensive cleaning of the surface. It adheres to all materials such as concrete, PE, PP, steel etc. It does not cure nor become brittle, and will give a perfect gas and watertight sealing down to 70 cm depth (down to 10 meter depth in combination with a 1 cm layer of STOPAQ Mortel).

STOPAQ 2100 has a life span of several decades. Due to the fact that it does not cure, new cables can be led through in a latter stage, and non-active cables can be removed after, for example, 30 years. Furthermore, STOPAQ 2100 is self recovering: small spaces due to vibration will be filled up and removal of cables will automatically lead to resettlement of the STOPAQ 2100 paste.

Rapid and money-saving application

Beside the excellent technical properties, practice has proven that STOPAQ 2100 provides for a quick and economic way of application. The compound comes in a 0.33 kg or 0.53 kg tube that can be fitted in a caulking gun. Special accessories such as flexible nozzles, foam strips etc. make it the most universal sealing system for fast sealing of any casing or hole regardless of the diameter, form and number of cables that run through.
