DUALSCOPE® MP0
Pocket-Size
Coating Thickness Gauge
by Fischer Technology

Easy,
high-precision coating thickness measurements over ferrous & non-
ferrous metals.
Cutting-edge, pocket-size instruments
with built-in probe.

The
smallest coating thickness gauge can be the greatest for
your measuring application.

The new
DUALSCOPE® MP0 offers proven Fischer coating
thickness probe technology. It measures coating
thickness with high precision. It is user-friendly and
sturdy. It is ideal for uncomplicated, reliable, on-site
applications. With its integrated measurement probe, it
measures the thicknesses of coatings quickly and
non-destructively utilizing the magnetic induction as
well as the eddy current method.
The
DUALSCOPE® MP0 automatically recognizes the material
type of the coated substrate material such as aluminum
or steel, and selects the appropriate measurement
method. Important statistical values are displayed via
the statistics function.
With its
superior repeatability, precision and
standard-conforming calibration function, the DUALSCOPE®
MP0 is unmatched in its class. |

Features & Advantages
-
Measurements on all
metallic materials (steel and iron or nonferrous metals).
-
Instrument
automatically recognizes the substrate material under the
coating and selects the appropriate measurement method.
-
Excellent
repeatability and precision.
-
Low influence of
permeability, electrical conductivity and geometry of the
substrate material (curvature, thickness, etc.)
-
Patented
conductivity compensation of the reading (eddy current method).
-
Small enough to make
reliable measurements even in hard to reach areas.
Ideal
for Daily Use
-
Immediate
measurements without calibration.
-
One-point
calibration for severe changes in shape or substrate material.
-
Easy-to-perform
zero-point correction (normalization) for applications with
little changes in shape and substrate material.
-
Statistics functions
for display of mean value, standard deviation, MIN, MAX.
-
Quick, one-hand
operation: Place instrument on specimen and see the measured
value.
-
Two backlit LCD
displays for readings in all instrument positions, even
overhead.
-
Automatic On/Off
function.
-
Durable, rugged
housing and hard-material coated probe.
-
Low weight: only 132
g (4.7 oz) including batteries.
Additional Functions
-
Measurements with
the "free-running display" mode for continuous scanning of
surfaces, e.g., in tank construction.
-
Memory for 1000
readings.
-
Acoustic and optical
measurement capture signal.
-
Units of measurement
selectable in μm or mils.
-
Low Battery warning
