DL-1
Four-Channel CP Datalogger
by Tinker & Rasor

Logs interference, shorts, impressed current,
structure-to-cell telluric events.
Only 1-1/2" in diameter for
installation in test station risers.
Environmentally sealed for buried or wet applications.

Overview
The Tinker & Rasor DL-1 Data
Logger is a portable, battery
operated, four-channel data logger capable of measuring DC and AC volts
and amps. Its small diameter (1-1/2") allows it to be
concealed in the riser of most test stations. The environmentally sealed
case is ideally suited for buried or wet applications. Its sampling rate
can be as slow as once every 99 minutes to as fast as 512 times a second,
allowing it to record light rail and telluric events. Slower sample
speeds can help pinpoint the time it take for pipelines to reach their
native potential, even if it takes weeks.

Features
- 540,000 readings in memory.
- Record 512 times a second to
once every 99 minutes.
- Data backup battery.
- 4 channels with independent
ground.
- 2 channels with AC filtering,
0-5V.
- 1 channel with DC filtering,
0-300V RMS.
- 1 channel with no filtering,
0-100V.
- 10 MΩ impedance.
- RS232 serial connection to
PC.
- Status LED on instrument.
- Easily concealed in T&R T-3
CP test station riser pipe.
Applications
- Leave-behind data logger
- Cathodic protection readings
over time
- Structure-to-cell readings
- Anode output readings
- Telluric events
- Stray current readings

TRAC Software
Tinker & Rasor TRAC (True Recording
And
Capture) software is included with the DL-1 Datalogger. It will run on any Windows® platform PC, Palm® OS
or Handspring® PDA platform for fast programming and downloading of data from the DL-1,
both in the office or out in the field. The TRAC software displays over
540,000 samples with date and time stamp in both spreadsheet and graph
modes with many easy-to-use features and export functions. Spreadsheet
and graph data cannot be manipulated nor figures changed using TRAC.
The software is upgradeable via Tinker &
Rasor's website at NO CHARGE.
Easy-to-use menus allow for quick setup
or change. A notepad is provided for recording additional information such
as test station location. Spreadsheets or graphs display channel
voltage, current and/or event data. Each logged event has a date and time
stamp. Data collection can be started and stopped by a programmed
time/date.
