The Deepwater Polatrak® Deep-C-Meter is a self-contained CP monitoring system designed for deep-water ROV applications. It is a completely self-contained system capable of monitoring contact CP potentials with the ROV II Cathodic Protection Probe (no intervention with ROV systems in required). The system is comprised of three basic components:
 
1) Readout Unit with twin voltmeters housed in a stainless steel pressure housing.
 
2) Probe with a twin-element, tip contact, CP probe (Polatrak Model ROV II), and
 
3) Flying Lead, a 2-meter long umbilical that connects the probe to the readout.

Rated for operation in up to 10,000 feet (3000 m) depth, this is the most widely used system of it's kind worldwide. The instrument readout unit can be conveniently mounted anywhere on the ROV while the probe unit is held in the T-handle manipulator mount.

Main Benefits
