Responsibilities:
60% - Permit Applications
- Find the correct application.
- Fill out application with scope of work.
- Check requests.
- Email or take in applications. Follow up with applications.
40% - Update Spreadsheets & Customers
- Maintain spreadsheets with accurate and update status of permit applications.
- Maintain constant communication with clients and construction department on permit status.
- Attend weekly and monthly meetings with clients.
Experience:
Should exhibit an ability to read and understand construction drawings. Have knowledge of permit applications. Be familiar with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
Special requirements:
· Clean driving record
· Willing to travel to local Southern California city & county offices.
· Strong writing and communication skills.
· Ability to perform tasks within given schedules and deadlines.
· Strong time management skills. Ability to multi-task.
· Expert status for Smartsheet (or MS Project) preferred
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
