Farwest Corrosion Control Company is one of the largest and most experienced West Coast contractors for the installation of cathodic protection systems. We also provide a comprehensive range of engineering services related to cathodic protection. We have the experience, personnel and equipment needed to rapidly respond and solve corrosion problems. Farwest can undertake an entire installation project including the acquisition of construction and drilling permits, as well as insuring a timely date of completion.
We service the entire Western United States from our three California locations in Downey (Los Angeles), Bakersfield and Hayward. We have a C-10 Electrical license, a C-57 Drilling license, and a Class A General Engineering license, all from the State of California. We are also licensed in the adjoining states of Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. We own and operate our own drilling and installation and equipment, including four deep anode drilling rigs and one hollow stem auger rig complete with installation crews, all necessary tools and peripheral equipment. DOT Compliance
In compliance with current Federal Department of Transportation regulations, Farwest has on file and maintains an Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program and is in compliance with all drug testing and screening requirements of that plan. A copy of the program is available for your review at any time. Farwest is also in compliance with many other anti-drug policies maintained by large, private corporations and copies of those programs are also available for review.
Operator Qualification Program
Our personnel meet the requirements of the Operator Qualification rules mandated by DOT. Verification is available through ISNetworld.
Safety Program
It is the intent of Farwest management to provide a safe and healthful working environment for all employees. To accomplish this goal, every resource of occupational safety and health available to the management of Farwest shall be used.
Farwest maintains an active Injury and Illness Prevention Program that includes general safety rules, an emergency action program, a "right to know" program and a program to insure the correct use of hazardous materials. In addition, we also maintain a Process Safety Management Program, now required by many refining companies. Copies of the programs are available for your review at any time.
