JOB TITLE:  Business Development Specialist – Pennsylvania and the Northeast Region

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prefer technical knowledge of Cathodic Protection and/or corrosion related materials and services or Oil and Gas or Pipeline.
  • Have at least 3 years Sales experience.
  • Strategic thinking, good marketing acumen, written and verbal communication skills, and customer relationship management
  • Able to identify customer needs and maintain relationships with key clients
  • Proven track record with developing new accounts and sales leads, developing existing relationships and target specific opportunities
  • Ability to meet revenue based targets and track projects for purpose of sale closure
  • Develop sales presentations and provide detailed correspondence for customers
  • Sales territory will be Northeastern United States

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Mature and reliable, pleasant personality with exceptional communication and people skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Outlook, Information management, CRM
  • Must have a great driving record, able to drive long distances in car is required
  • Confident giving presentations and speaking in front of groups
  • Overnight travel is required, (About 50% travel will be required)
  • Verbal and written communication skills, professional personal presentation
  • Good organizational and planning skills with attention to detail

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year college degree preferred
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
