JOB TITLE: Business Development Specialist – Pennsylvania and the Northeast Region
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prefer technical knowledge of Cathodic Protection and/or corrosion related materials and services or Oil and Gas or Pipeline.
Have at least 3 years Sales experience.
Strategic thinking, good marketing acumen, written and verbal communication skills, and customer relationship management
Able to identify customer needs and maintain relationships with key clients
Proven track record with developing new accounts and sales leads, developing existing relationships and target specific opportunities
Ability to meet revenue based targets and track projects for purpose of sale closure
Develop sales presentations and provide detailed correspondence for customers
Sales territory will be Northeastern United States
REQUIRED SKILLS
Mature and reliable, pleasant personality with exceptional communication and people skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Outlook, Information management, CRM
Must have a great driving record, able to drive long distances in car is required
Confident giving presentations and speaking in front of groups
Overnight travel is required, (About 50% travel will be required)
Verbal and written communication skills, professional personal presentation
Good organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
4 year college degree preferred
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
