Farwest Corrosion is a Minority Business Enterprise
National Minority Supplier Development Council

The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) defines a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) as a for-profit business that is at least 51% owned, managed, and controlled by a member or members of a qualified minority group. To be considered a member of a qualified minority group, an individual must be a United States citizen who is Asian-Indian, Asian-Pacific, Black, Hispanic, or Native American. Ownership by qualified minority individuals means that the business is at least 51% owned by such individuals or, in the case of a publicly owned business, at least 51% of the stock is owned by one or more such individuals.
Supplier Clearinghouse
On behalf of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), Supplier Clearinghouse certifies women, minority, LGBT, persons with disabilities, and disabled veteran business enterprises, in accordance with the CPUC’s General Order 156 (GO 156). The Supplier Diversity Program has existed for almost 40 years with the fundamental and ongoing goal of advancing the American and Californian private enterprise marketplace through free, open and transparent competition. This can only be fully realized by harnessing the actual and potential capacity of all persons. Advancing competitive procurement opportunities for everyone by having voluntary inclusionary programs assists utilities into reaching new markets, increasing shareholder value, and controlling costs – while making us stronger together.
