We are looking for an experienced Production Lead to join our team. The person in this position will be responsible for production and responsible for ensuring quality standards are met by each product or service provided. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills (verbal and written). Starting pay for this position is $19.50 depending on background and experience.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in the preparation and organization of employee work schedules
• Monitor and report employee issues to Production Manager
• Oversee the day-to-day functions of their assigned department by providing guidance and direction to their designated staff
• Train, guide, oversea, and organize employees to complete the preparation of production products
• Assists Production Manager in planning the layout of their assigned areas
• Updating required production reports
• Coordinate work order and material flow within the manufacturing areas, assign and position resources based on work order demand and priorities
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by leading by example and assisting all other leads/managers in monitoring the use of all equipment and resources
• Identify issues, problems, and solutions in areas of safety, quality, and production
• Able to work with support groups such as Engineering, Maintenance, and Production
• Develop and maintain good inventory control practices
• Ensure the adherence of all specs, policies, procedures and standards
• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains production work areas, parts, tools, and supplies
• Performs other related duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Works well independently and with others
• Good communication skills
• Organized with attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
