 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform an inside sales function and communicate with customers regarding the ordering process, returns, special quotes, etc.
  • Communicate with customers regarding orders/returns; establishing terms, pricing, appropriate products for the application
  • Prep estimating quotes for engineering and construction
  • Process orders in the company information system
  • Serve as the key contact between the company and its customers
  • Assist Service and Accounting departments with their customer contacts as needed
  • Provide timely and accurate information for incoming customer order status
  • Product knowledge requests, processing customers' orders and providing timely feedback.

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to type 35 words per minute minimum


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-4 years of office related administrative and clerical experience
  • 3-4 years of computers and relevant software applications experience
  • 3-4 years of office related customer service principles and practices experience
  • 3-4 years of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Leadership qualities and ability to delegate and manage time efficiently
