JOB TITLE:  Office Assistant

DEPARTMENT: Admin

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Back up front desk and switchboard duties
  • Heavy filing duties
  • Approve vendor invoices for purchase orders
  • Check and verify all GL codes, pricing and material
  • Call vendors for invoice copies when needed
  • Kitchen monitor
  • Check xerox & fax machine papers
  • Assist in other departments as needed


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Exceptional communication and people skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Outlook
  • Self starter, energetic, and enthusiastic
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience with general office duties and front office preferred
