Scotchcast Re-Enterable Signal and Control Splicing Kits:
78-R Series, Voltage Rating up to 1000V

The 78-R series is for use on shielded or non-shielded plastic or rubber jacketed signal and control cable. A specially formulated compound allows inline or tap splices to be re-opened for splice re-work and the mold body reused. Only normal hand tools are required.

The Scotchcast 2114 re-enterable compound is mixed in and poured from the Unipak™ container for clean, easy handling and fast curing.

The series provides an excellent Moisture seal, allowing the splice to be direct buried. PVC mold body and end caps resist acids, detergents, chemicals and other harmful elements.
