Watertight, conformable coating for corrosion protection of irregular surfaces.
Tapecoat Moldable Sealant is a 60 mil, cold applied, dielectric putty designed for contour surfaces prior to application of Tapecoat Elastomeric Tapes.
Available as follows:
2" x 50', 12 Rolls per Case
4" x 50', 6 Rolls per Case
6" x 50', 4 Rolls per Case
Tapecoat Moldable Sealant is a conformable water tight coating for irregular surfaces, such as bolt style mechanical couplings, bell and spigot joints, saddle tees or leak clamps; as a sealant in vaults, on underground tracer wire and other low voltage manual wire connections, on anode wire connections, as an insulating adhesive with shrinkable tubing.
Composition
Tapecoat Moldable Sealant is a 100% solids formulation of thermoplastic elastomeric and synthetic resins. Blended in this adhesive is an “integrated primer.”
