Business Development Specialist, Tulsa, OK
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prefer Technical knowledge of Cathodic Protection and/or corrosion related materials and services or Oil and Gas or Pipeline.
Have at least 3 years Sales experience.
Strategic thinking, good marketing acumen, written and verbal communication skills, and customer relationship management
Able to identify customer needs and maintain relationships with key clients
Proven track record with developing new accounts and sales leads, developing existing relationships and target specific opportunities
Ability to meet revenue based targets
Develop sales presentations and provide detailed correspondence for customers
Ability to track projects for purpose of sale closure
REQUIRED SKILLS
Mature and reliable, pleasant personality with exceptional communication and people skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Outlook, Information management
Must have a great driving record
Confident giving presentations and speaking in front of groups
Overnight travel required
Verbal and written communication skills, professional personal presentation
Good organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Shortel experience preferred but not required
