While online ordering is now easier than ever, our focus hasn’t changed: we still recommend reaching out to our product specialists for guidance on selecting the right solution for your CP system.

New Drill Rig Rolling Into Action

The latest addition to the Farwest fleet is a GEFCO drill rig, proudly bearing the American flag—and built to perform. It expands our field capabilities and reflects our continued investment in high-quality equipment that delivers results in the most demanding conditions.

This rig isn’t just sitting pretty—it’s already turning heads and drilling deep!

Tariff Update: Global Volatility, Local Readiness

Tariffs have shifted up and down throughout the year—and while the steepest increases are currently on pause, new spikes may be on the horizon.

Tariffs introduced this spring raised costs on critical materials like magnesium ingots, graphite and high-silicon cast iron—all essential to anode production.

As a U.S. manufacturer and distributor, Farwest took early action to shield our customers. Our world-class supply chain team moved fast to secure inventory, diversify sourcing and strengthen supplier relationships to avoid disruption.

We’re stocked—and we’ll have more anodes than anyone else. Whether tariffs go up, down or sideways, we’re ready. You will be too.

Committed to Safety: In the Field and at Every Facility

Safety isn’t just policy—it’s part of the Farwest culture. We work diligently to maintain safe conditions across all job sites and facilities through proactive reporting, regular training and technology-driven improvements.

Recently, Tammie Arrata, Head of National Accounts, represented Farwest at the SoCalGas Annual Contractor Safety Congress, where industry leaders gathered to exchange ideas and elevate safety standards.

Farwest remains committed to advancing safety practices across every level of our operations—because protecting people always comes first.

Smarter Support Through Technology

While we don’t use bots or artificial intelligence to replace people, we do leverage technology to serve you better. Our teams use advanced tools to produce:

  •  Detailed engineering reports
  •  Customized cathodic protection designs
  •  Site-specific assessments and data analysis

We continually invest in technology that enhances accuracy, efficiency and responsiveness—because great service starts with the right tools behind it.

Hydration Challenge: Investing in Team Wellness

At Farwest, we know that delivering world-class service starts with supporting our team. This summer, we launched a company-wide Hydration Challenge to encourage healthy habits and better overall wellness across all locations.

Every team member received a custom Farwest water bottle, and participants are tracking their daily water intake through August 29. It’s a fun, friendly way to stay healthy—and a reminder that even small habits can lead to better performance and well-being.

With the mercury climbing during the summer months, it’s more important than ever to take care of our #1 asset—our team.
